Any section, on your store, in one prompt.

Every EXPERAISE Sections section is a single Liquid file. Let Claude install it for you, push it with Shopify CLI, or paste it in the theme code editor. Same file, same result.

With Claude (MCP)

Connect once. Then just describe what you want: Claude picks the section, fetches the file and pushes it to your theme.

  1. Connect EXPERAISE Sections. In Claude Code, run:

    Unlimited members add --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_LICENSE_KEY" for Pro sections. In the Claude app: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector → https://sections.experaise.com/api/mcp.
  2. Log in to your store with Shopify CLI (once) so Claude can push theme files:

  3. Ask. For example:

    Install the EXPERAISE Sections "Drop Countdown" section on your-store.myshopify.com, on an unpublished copy of my live theme. Then tell me how to add it in the theme editor.
  4. Customize & publish. Online Store → Themes → Customize the copy → Add section → EX · …. Preview, then publish the theme.
For developers

Shopify CLI

Download the file into your theme repository and push just that file, or keep `shopify theme dev` running.

  1. From your theme folder:

Theme code editor

Copy the Liquid from any section page and paste it into a new section file.

  1. Online Store → Themes → ⋯ → Duplicate, then Edit code on the copy.
  2. Sections → Add a new section → Liquid → name it like the file (e.g. mf-drop-countdown).
  3. Replace the generated content with the section’s Liquid → Save.
  4. Customize → Add section → EX · …

Does EXPERAISE Sections get access to my Shopify store?

No. The EXPERAISE Sections MCP server only serves section files. Claude writes them to your theme with your own Shopify tooling (Shopify CLI logged in as you, or an Admin API app you control). Your credentials never leave your machine or Shopify.

Will Claude change my live theme?

The server instructs Claude to install on an unpublished or duplicate theme unless you explicitly ask for the live one, and to push only the section file (--only sections/mf-….liquid). Nothing else in your theme is modified.

Which Claude apps does this work with?

Claude Code (terminal, desktop and IDE) can fetch and push the file end to end because it can run Shopify CLI. In the Claude app, add ${BRAND.name} as a custom connector: Claude will fetch the section and walk you through pasting it, or push it if a Shopify connector with theme access is available.

How do Pro sections work with Claude?

Add your Unlimited license key to the connection (Authorization: Bearer header in Claude Code, or ?key= in the connector URL). Free sections need no key.
